DWI suspect blamed for two accidents 2-4
A man whose license was already suspended from a DWI charge is now accused of driving drunk and causing two accidents last night in Wilmington.
59-year-old Liam James is in the New Hanover County jail.
Wilmington Police say he had an accident in a parking lot near Forest Hills Drive—then fled the scene and struck a utility pole.
James faces charges of driving while impaired, hit and run, and careless and reckless driving.
