Dozens of people gathered at North Topsail Elementary school last night for a candlelight vigil for victims of the Connecticut school shootings.
The event included a moment of silence and a reading of the names of the 26 children and adults who died at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown.
Flags throughout North Carolina will fly at half-staff until sunset tomorrow.
