Local film supporters want to send lawmakers in Raleigh a message: keep the state’s film incentive program.
The second annual N-C Film Rally will be held Sunday, May 4th at 5 pm at the River Walk in downtown Wilmington.
The rally is sponsored by Wilmington Regional Film Commission.
The General Assembly will decide next month whether to extend the incentives the state offers to productions based in North Carolina.
Some wonder if the incentives live up to the revenues promised.
Film supporters say losing the incentives will cost the state millions in review and lost jobs.
