A New Hanover County woman is in jail--charged with poisoning her 9-year-old daughter.
Deputies have not said what they think Jeannie Marvel used to poison her child.
She and her daughter were found unresponsive at their Scratch Court home Friday.
The child is expected to be okay.
So is the family cat--who investigators say was poisoned as well.
Marvel's bail is set at $500,000.
