Wilmington voters gave a resounding NO to building a new baseball stadium.
A referendum for the city to spend $37 million on a new stadium failed--with 70 percent voting No and 30 percent voting Yes.
The city had been negotiating with the Atlanta Braves to bring in a minor league team.
