The Wilmington area should expect life-threatening effects from Hurricane Florence.
That’s the latest word from the National Weather Service.
Parts of New Hanover and Pender counties could see as much as 30 inches of rain as the storm is expected to stall over the area.
Leaders say if you plan to get out before the storm–you should leave now.
The storm is expected to hit our coast as a Category 3 or 4 hurricane overnight Thursday and into Friday morning.
