One man is dead after a shooting in Pender County.
It happened last night at a home off of Highway 17 North in Hampstead.
Investigators have not released the victim's name--but they believe that man and the shooter knew each other.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Vincent Edward Smith Junior.
