Two people are dead following a car crash in Pender County.
The accident happened on U-S 421 yesterday afternoon.
The Highway Patrol says a silver car crossed the center line and struck a tractor trailer.
Two women in the car were killed.
A third passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The names of the victims have not been released.
