Tattoo leads to break-in arrest 9-27

Posted: September 27, 2012

New Hanover County deputies say they found a suspect in a gas station break-in because of a tattoo.
Deputies say someone broke into the Pit Stop store on Carolina Beach Road by cutting a hole in the roof.
They say surveillance video shows the suspect without a shirt--and a unique tattoo on his back.
Now--they've charged David Andrew Cox with the break-in.
He's jailed on a 25-hundred dollar secured bond.
