Another nice day in store Thursday, but rain and cold return on Friday

Wednesday was the warmest day since Nov. 22, with a high of 70 degrees in Raleigh. It'll still be nice Thursday, according to meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner, though not quite as warm as Wednesday.
