The Wilmington City Council is pledging support for a three MILLION dollar pedestrian bridge on South College Road.
Now they have to figure out how to pay for it.
That part of South College Road--near the UNC Wilmington campus--carries more than 63-thousand cars a day.
The bridge would make it easier for walkers, joggers and bicyclists to cross the busy roadway.
