The Wilmington City Council will take a closer look at its leash ordinance tonight.
At issue--should an electric fence be considered an appropriate way to keep the public safe from animals?
Right now--the law says pets should be restrained with a leash or a similar device.
Tonight's meeting is at 6:30 at city hall.
