The New Hanover County Republican Party will meet today to finalize its recommendation for a vacancy on the county board of commissioners.
The group's nominating committee wants county ABC board chairman Thomas Wolfe to fill the seat.
The vacancy comes after Rick Caitlin was elected to the North Carolina General Assembly.
